A ‘bloody’ nightmare Face-to-face CPD event feedback
On a dark, cold autumn night our internal medicine team, supported by VPG (Veterinary Pathology Group) hosted an evening based all around blood!
The event was held at the Holiday Inn in Winchester that the delegates appreciated as a great venue providing good food.
Tom cave representing VPG went through an in-depth analysis of anaemia and obtaining bone marrow samples.
Then followed by Amanda, Josh and Consuelo for an interactive and informative up-to-date run through various case examples. Showcasing bloodwork results including different tick-borne diseases and the new offenders coming into the UK, assessing leukograms and erythrocytosis again through recent case examples.
The delegates from primary care practices across the region really valued the real-life case studies shared by different presenters and the engaging interactive element.
