Our team are highly skilled and trained in emergency care with many of our nursing team having achieved (or studying towards) further qualifications in ECC (including a VTS ECC holder). This gives pet owners peace of mind that your referral for their pet is of the highest quality and that their pets will get the best care. Our ICU equipment includes:

  • Separate cat and dog areas within the ICU
  • An ICU cot for recumbent and/or comatose patients
  • An ICU ventilator
  • 2 x Intenso Oxygen kennels that are temperature controlled
  • Multiple oxygen outlets across the wards to provide flow by oxygen via nasal cannulas/nasal prongs
  • Multiparameter machines (to include ECG, capnography, direct and indirect arterial blood pressure)
  • An iSTAT machine to measure electrolytes and blood gases
