Intensive and Critical Care
As a multi-disciplinary centre, Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists takes referrals from your local veterinary practice. We can offer care for pets suffering from trauma, pain, breathing conditions, gastrointestinal issues, post-operative complications, and much more.
Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists will be able to help and support you and your pet in emergency cases. We offer a range of services, as well as facilities that can ensure your pet will be in safe hands and receive the best care possible.
We have teams available 24/7 to provide immediate and life-saving care for your pet following referral from a general practitioner. Upon arrival, one of our vets will perform a thorough examination to understand your pet's specific needs, whilst still working collaboratively with you and keeping your normal vet up to date with your pet's diagnosis and treatment. If diagnostics or emergency surgery is necessary, our advanced facilities come into play, and our comfortable wards will ensure a stress-free environment for cats and dogs under our care.
Our fully equipped intensive care unit (ICU) features cutting-edge life-support technology, allowing our team to manage even the most critical cases with expertise. Many of our nursing team have achieved (or are studying towards) further qualifications in ECC (Emergency and Critical Care). There is always a vet on site 24/7, alongside multiple members of the nursing team and patient care assistants. This gives you peace of mind your pet is having the very best care.
