A Diagnostic Approach to Epileptic Seizures
Hosted by Ed Ives, RCVS Recognised Specialist in Neurology this face-to-face event provides a logical approach to cases presenting for epileptic seizures in primary care.
Throughout the evening Ed will review the definition of an epileptic seizure and how these can be classified, before moving on to a framework of how to break down possible causes for seizures that could be used when discussing cases with owners.
This engaging session will also cover possible mimics of epileptic seizures, before focusing on toxic and metabolic causes of epileptic seizures, how common these may be in general practice and how to approach their diagnosis and management.
