Kathryn Lunn
RVN GradDip VN
Clinical Lead
Kathryn wanted to work in veterinary nursing from a very early age and always knew it would be a career path she would follow. Animals have always played an important part in her life from riding horses as a child, to having family pets at home. Kathryn started her veterinary nursing career at a small animal practice in North London where her passion for surgical nursing began.
She qualified in 2003 and then moved to a mixed practice and exotic centre in Hampshire as the Deputy Head Nurse, here she gained her exotic nursing qualification. She moved to to Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists in 2008 gaining further experience and knowledge particularly in surgical nursing and inpatient care.
Kathryn achieved a Graduate Diploma from the RVC in 2013 and then went on to become a surgical Head Nurse in 2015. In 2022 her role further developed, and she was appointed as Surgical Team Leader and Clinical Nursing Lead where she was part of the Senior Leadership Team in the practice. In May 2023 she was successful in her application as Head of Nursing Services for Anderson Moores.
