Hilario Gonzalez Montano

Resident in Small Animal Surgery

Hilario graduated from the University of Cordoba, Spain, in 2015 and worked in first opinion small animal practice for three years before moving to the UK. He then worked in London before completing a rotating internship at AMVS followed by an orthopaedic internship at The Grove Referrals in Norfolk. More recently he has been working back in first opinion small animal in Exmouth, Devon while working towards his surgical certificate in advanced veterinary practice and getting involved with some publications. He joined AMVS again in July 2023 as an ECVS Small Animal Resident. Hilario enjoys all aspects of small animal surgery with a specific interest in orthopaedic and fracture management.
