To reduce our use of oxygen and volatile anaesthetic agent we use Low Flow anaesthesia.
To further reduce the environmental impact of our anaesthetics, we are also very happy to announce that in early 2026 we will be getting on site oxygen and medical air generators. This will eliminate the need for transporting and handling large volumes of cylinders, and will ensure an unlimited supply of oxygen for the hospital at all times.
