Hind limb lameness is one of the most frequent presentations in small animal practice, but distinguishing between the many possible causes can be challenging.
This session will cover the most common orthopaedic conditions causing lameness in dogs, illustrated with typical radiographs of frequently encountered diseases.
We will discuss practical treatment options available in general practice, highlight red flags for more complex cases, and provide guidance on when referral may be appropriate. The aim is to give you a structured, confidence-building approach that you can apply to everyday cases in the consulting room.
