Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Dermatology
Heather studied at Cambridge University, gaining a degree in pathology (immunology and microbial/parasitic disease) before qualifying as a vet in 1998. She initially worked as a first opinion vet in mixed and small animal practices, but has been seeing solely dermatology referral cases in Stockport and Buckinghamshire since 2018. She was awarded the RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Dermatology in 2008 and is an Advanced Practitioner in Veterinary Dermatology.
Heather has contributed to the BSAVA PROTECT ME poster promoting responsible antibiotic use in small animal veterinary practice and is a RCVS gold antibiotic guardian.
