When your pet is discharged from our hospital you will be given a full set of instructions with how to best look after them now they are back home to aid their full recovery. We are always here to help, and your local vet will most likely be the point of call for their longer term care.
These instructions will include what to feed them, how often to walk or exercise them as well and when and how to give them their medications.

Prescriptions are available from us directly.
A fee is charged per prescription. Please ask for our current fee.
You may obtain Prescription Only Medicines Veterinary, (POM-Vs) from your veterinary surgeon or ask for a prescription and obtain these medicines from another veterinary surgeon or a pharmacy.
Your veterinary surgeon may prescribe POM-Vs only for animals under their care. A prescription may not be appropriate if your animal is an in-patient or immediate treatment is necessary. You will be informed, on request, of the price of any medicine that may be dispensed for your animal.
The general policy of this practice is to re-assess an animal requiring repeat prescriptions every 6 months, but this may vary with individual circumstances.
There is a fee for this re-examination.
In accordance with best practice dispensing guidelines we are unable to accept return of medications that have been dispensed from this practice for a refund. We are unable to resell these medications because we cannot guarantee that recommended storage practices have been followed and this risks harm to another patient.
We are able to accept medicines to facilitate disposal, however cannot provide a refund for these.
