Alexandra Gray
Small Animal Cardiology Intern
Alex qualified from the University of Bristol in 2018, with a Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science with Distinction, and a passion for Cardiology. She then spent almost 5 years working in Suffolk in a busy small animal hospital-style practice, where she enjoyed furthering her skills and knowledge in all areas of the clinical veterinary field but maintained her desire to pursue a career in veterinary cardiology.
Before undertaking a rotating internship at a specialist veterinary referral hospital in the South West of England in 2023, Alex also spent some time exploring another passion of hers via small group teaching of Veterinary Medicine students in Veterinary Anatomy and Physiology. Alex joined Anderson Moores in September 2024 following completion of her rotating internship, to embark upon her cardiology journey.
Alex loves all things cardiac but gets particularly excited by feline cardiomyopathies and arrhythmias. Her love for cats does not stop at work – Alex has 3 beautiful cats of her own; Pixie, Quill and Wren and on the rare occasion she isn’t at work or at home with them, she enjoys baking, reading and, having grown up by the sea, spending time outdoors, ideally near water.
