Laura Holm, Anderson Moores’ RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine, will be presenting the webinar ‘Alabama Rot / Cutaneous Renal glomerular vasculopathy (CRGV)’ for CPD Solutions’ Clinical Updates in Small Animal Practice Week on Tuesday 17th January, between 2pm-3pm.
This 1 hour webinar will start with a brief history of cutaneous and renal glomerular vasculopathy (CRGV) in the UK. The pathogenesis will then be described and there will be some discussion regarding the similarities between CRGV and a group of human illnesses called haemolytic uraemic syndrome and thrombotic thrombocytopaenic purpura, which share similar pathology.
This will be followed by case presentation, physical examination and diagnostic test findings, patient monitoring, management and prognosis.
The final section will cover investigations carried out to date, current research projects and the future direction of CRGV research to bring you right up to date in this important area.
