Unfortunately, we have to confirm a further 11 cases of cutaneous and renal glomerular vasculopathy (often termed CRGV and sometimes known as Alabama Rot). The cases were from St Athan (Vale of Glamorgan), Oxford (Oxfordshire), Barnstaple (Devon), Shaftesbury (Dorset), Blidworth (Nottinghamshire), Chepstow (Monmouthshire), Newtown and Presteigne (Powys), Downpatrick (County Down), Frome (Somerset) and Hindon (Wiltshire).

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 143 since 2012, with 20 cases in 2018. We continue to advise owners to be vigilant and to seek advice from their local vet if their dog develops unexplained skin lesions/sores.
