We are delighted to welcome a number of new faces to our talented anaesthesia team!
Dr Matt Gurney, previously the head of anaesthesia at Northwest Veterinary Specialists, has transferred within the Pets at Home group to co-head the team alongside Dr Karla Borland.
Joining them will be Carl Bradbrook. Carl previously worked as an independent anaesthesia consultant, providing specialist anaesthesia support to both university and private practice.
Other recent recruits to the team include Nunzia Palomba and Vale Carozzo. Nunzia previously worked at Dick White Referrals and Vale has joined from the University of Saskatchewan, in Canada.
Speaking about his new role, Dr Gurney said: “It’s an exciting time to be at Anderson Moores. I’m looking forward to working closely with my new colleagues and clients, as well preparing plenty of CPD opportunities to help first opinion practices support vets and nurses across the south coast.”
“I thoroughly enjoyed my ten years at Northwest Veterinary Services, but this is a fantastic opportunity for me; one made much easier as it was simply transferring within the Pets at Home Vet Group.”
Karla Borland added: “It is great to have Specialists with the knowledge and experience of Matt and Carl. The importance of the dedicated anaesthesia team has grown dramatically over the last few years and this has allowed us not only to increase the throughput of surgical cases, but also to transform the quality of care that we are able to provide.”
“I’m delighted to welcome Matt and Carl to Anderson Moores. They bring a weight of wisdom and experience to the team.” said Richard Hoile, chief executive at Anderson Moores.
