The new 64 slice CT scanner provides fast examinations, with excellent image detail and special image reconstructions, allowing the team to scan and diagnose patients rapidly.
The cutting-edge technology will assist our specialists with tumour staging, orthopaedic patients and general abdominal examinations in larger dogs. It will also provide more accurate diagnoses of ectopic ureters and vascular anomalies.
Commenting on the new 64 slice CT scanner, Head of Diagnostic Imaging, Petra Agthe, said; “We are very excited about the installation of our new CT scanner, which has significantly improved our imaging service due to faster examination times and excellent image quality even when examining very large dogs.”
The recent installation follows the opening of our new reception facility, which includes segregated cat and dog waiting areas, state-of-the-art facilities, as well as additional consultation space.
