American Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine

Lucy graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1999 and worked in mixed practice for approximately 4 years before returning to the RVC to undertake a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. In 2004 she started a three year residency in small animal medicine at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals at the RVC.  Lucy passed the certifying examination of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2007 thus becoming an ACVIM diplomate. In 2007 Lucy became a lecturer in Small Animal Medicine at the RVC which involved working in the Queen Mother Hospital seeing referral patients as well as teaching undergraduate veterinary students and trainee veterinary nurses.  Lucy gives regular CPD lectures to veterinary surgeons and nurses and she is an examiner for the RCVS CertAVP and CertSAM qualifications. Lucy joins Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists in October 2011. Lucy is interested in all aspects of internal medicine but particularly gastroenterology, endoscopy and immune mediated disease.
