At the initial consultation the clinician you see will discuss treatment options with you and provide you with an estimate of costs. The nature of the specialist care that we provide and the specialist equipment we use mean that these costs are often greater than you might expect from your first-opinion practice.

We are pleased to be able to announce a special Fixed Price fee for TPLO or TTA Surgery, including free follow-up x-rays. Click here for further details.
If your pet is admitted for tests or treatments we will ask you for a deposit at the time of admission. We do expect payment of the balance at the time that you collect your pet. We accept most credit/debit cards but do not accept American Express. We can only take cheques upto the limit of a cheque guarantee card.
Insurance
You should be aware that we can not guarantee that your insurance company will cover your pet's treatment. Most insurance companies will not tell us directly if your pet's condition is covered or not, or for how much. If your pet is insured we encourage you to check with your insurance company in advance of your appointment that they will cover the costs of your pet's treatment. Some insurance companies will allow 'preauthorisation' of claims to give you peace of mind that the costs of treatment will be covered. We are happy to help with this process but you will need to contact us well in advance of your appointment to request this -the preauthorisation process can take 1-2 weeks to complete.
If your pet is insured please bring an insurance claim form with you to your appointment. We will still expect a deposit at admission of your pet and full payment from you when you collect your pet. We will send off the insurance claim form on your behalf and your insurance company will reimburse you directly (there is a small administration fee for processing insurance claims).
We will consider direct claims (in which the insurance company pays us directly) in certain situations and for certain insurance companies. If possible to arrange, preauthorisation facilitates the direct claim process. Please contact us well in advance of your appointment if you need us to consider this.
