Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists has been busy celebrating 10 years of providing high quality surgical and medical care for cats and dogs across the South. To mark this milestone in spectacular style we held an anniversary black tie gala dinner for all the company and partners at Southampton FC’s St Mary’s Stadium.
Set up in 2006, Anderson Moores has grown from just 5 employees to become one of the UK’s largest and most respected veterinary referral centres for cats and dogs, boasting over 130 veterinary specialists, nurses and administrative staff.
Commenting on our 10th anniversary, Dr Davina Anderson, one of the four founding shareholders and an internationally recognised Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, said; “When we first set up Anderson Moores we never imagined that we would grow as fast as we have, and that is a testament to the quality and dedication of the people who have worked so hard. It is really gratifying that so many of those people are still with us. Here’s to another successful ten years for the practice!”
Richard Hoile, CEO, said; “It’s been a tremendous journey. Every year has seen great change and earlier this year the Pets At Home group took a majority stake in the company. This will enable us to continue to develop, and to provide the best specialist care for dogs and cats from across the south of England.”
What the future holds for Anderson Moores
2016 has proved an exciting year here at Anderson Moores. We have enjoyed a number of significant achievements, one being the launch of our new, and the county’s first, Feline Hyperthyroid Clinic. Building work has also begun on the development of a new purpose-built reception at Bunstead Barns, which will contain a greatly enlarged reception and waiting area, 8 consultancy rooms and administrative office. This new addition will be officially opened in the summer of 2017.
